Establishing a Higher Standard of Care
Hospitals dedicated to caring for patients with traumatic brain injury can optimize the outcomes of their patients by integrating the Brain Trauma Foundation guidelines and multimodality monitoring into an organized team protocol. The Adam Williams Foundation is seeking Level I and II trauma centers interested in integrating care across disciplines in caring for severe TBI patients. All Level I and Level II trauma centers are encouraged to apply.
Applications are accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis. Only one application per Trauma
Center is needed. The TBI Selection Team meets quarterly to choose new trauma centers. The
applications can be filled out online and sent via email to info@awtbi.org.
Commitment
Make the decision now to increase the quality outcomes of your traumatic brain injury patients. We have the treatment protocols, equipment, and people to help you make it happen. All you have to do is contact us, the Adam Williams Initiative, to assist you in the discovery of new treatment options.
A Change for the Better
Change is slow to happen. Healthcare professionals become comfortable with "acceptable" results for status quo treatments when the resources for improvement aren't readily available. Unfortunately, it is the patients and their families who suffer the "acceptable" consequences when all the treatment possibilities can't be pursued. Your team, with our help, can make treatment possibilities become probabilities, but it will take dedication. The success of the new traumatic brain injury protocols relies on leadership, teamwork, and a willingness to open and empty the envelope of conventional thinking and treatment strategies.
Take the First Step Toward Improved Outcomes
the first step is to contact us and apply. We are looking for individuals and teams who will embrace the new treatment protocols and investing the time to learn new equipment and new techniques. Qualifying facilities will receive free training, free equipment, and as much support as needed.
Make a Difference
If just one patient has an improved quality outcome, then the time and energy invested in the new treatment protocols will have been a success. Our protocols have a proven track record of being more than isolated success stories, and the stories themselves are nothing short of miracles. You have an ongoing chance to restore a normal world to patients and families who are victims of traumatic brain injury.
Your Patients are Worthy
Make the decision now to become part of the team that is changing traumatic brain injury care. Contact the Adam Williams Initiative to find out how you can get involved. We need your help.
